Freddy Moore began performing under the name Skogie which was dubbed one of the first power pop bands by Creem magazine. He changed the name of the band to The Kats and changed his moniker to a cat named Freddy. He began dating Demi Moore while he was still married. Freddy and Demi Moore divorced in 1985. Freddy Moore released albums or singles under the names Skogie and the Flaming Pachucos, The Nu Kats, Boy, and The Kat Club. As an actor he starred as Arn in the 1982 film Parasite. Moore worked as an animal trainer for the 2010 short Los encinos.
