Joshua Adam Donaldson is an American professional baseball player.

He was born on December 8, 1985, in Pensacola, Florida to Lisa French and Levon Donaldson.

After playing college baseball at Auburn University, Josh was first drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 2007 MLB draft.

Donaldson made his MLB debut with the Athletics in 2010 as a catcher, progressing with the team, switching positions to third base, and ultimately became an All-Star in the 2014 MLB season.

He is currently the third baseman for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball.

Prior to joining the Yankees, Donaldson played for the Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Cleveland Indians, Atlanta Braves, and Minnesota Twins.
